Module 103: Practical Theology of Biblical Counseling
Module 103 Practical Theology systematically tackles some of the most-encountered issues in the counseling room with tried-and-true principles from Scripture. The student is taught to think biblically about the nature of man, anger, depression, bipolar, ADHD, anxiety, addictions, and much more. The student will be taught effective techniques for pursuing heart change and life transformation through use of specific assignments and practical application of Spiritual truths.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The student will also be encouraged to apply to a certifying agency and complete the membership application. An in-depth discussion involving the dangers of psychological integration with the ministry of soul care will be a central theme in this course. The student should expect to be introduced to biblical terminology and principles involving idols of the heart, the art of self-talk, the doctrine of forgiveness, and how biblical homework provides the catalyst for real transformation. Students will be introduced to the concept of the ministry cycle for maximum effectiveness in offering lasting help to your counselees.
